Three brands dominate the permanent-lighting market in AZ. Here's the real difference between them — beyond what their sales pages say.
Trimlight
The original. Daylight-visible white channel that hides under a fascia drip line. Cool/warm white + RGB in every bulb. Strong dealer network in AZ. Pricier per linear foot ($35–$55/ft installed) but the longest track record.
Jellyfish
RGBW bulbs (true dedicated white LED inside each bulb — Trimlight mixes RGB to make white). Cleaner whites, slightly better app. Similar pricing ($30–$50/ft installed).
Everlights
Most affordable ($25–$40/ft installed), slimmest channel, decent app. Newer to AZ — dealer support varies. Good entry point.
What matters more than brand
Installer quality. A bad install on any brand looks bad and fails fast. Verify: aluminum (not plastic) channel, sealed end caps, neat power transformer location, weather-rated controller in a covered spot. We install all three — we'll quote whichever fits your house and budget.
