Terms of Service

1. Who these terms apply to

"AE," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Advant-Edge Decorative Curbing & Landscaping, Inc. dba AE Outdoor Living and its affiliated brands. "You" means any visitor or user of our website or tools.

2. Not a contract for services

Nothing on this website constitutes a binding contract for construction services. Any project we perform is governed by a separate signed written agreement (the Project Contract), which controls in the event of any conflict with the website or marketing materials.

3. Estimates, pricing, and tools

Pricing examples, ranges, cost guides, the Budget Builder, the AI Outdoor Diagnosis, and the online estimator are informational only. Final pricing depends on site conditions, soil, access, permits, HOA requirements, material availability, finish selections, and design decisions — and is only valid when issued in a written quote signed by an AE representative. Tool output is not a quote, offer, warranty, or guarantee of feasibility.

4. AI Outdoor Diagnosis disclaimer

Our AI Diagnosis tool generates suggestions based on photos and inputs you provide. It is not a professional inspection, engineering evaluation, or licensed contractor's opinion. Do not rely on it for structural, safety, code, or warranty decisions. Always get an on-site evaluation from a licensed professional before taking action. AE is not liable for actions taken based on AI output.

5. Photos, designs, and content

Project photos depict actual completed AE projects with homeowner permission. Designs, renderings, materials, finishes, and configurations shown may not be available, permitted, or feasible on every site or within every budget. Marketing imagery is representative, not guaranteed.

All website content, including text, graphics, photos, videos, and design tool output, is owned by AE or licensed to AE and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, or redistribute content without written permission.

5b. Proprietary tools, calculators & methodology

Our interactive tools — including the Budget Builder, ROI Calculator, Pool Cost Calculator, Yard Planner, AI Outdoor Diagnosis, Quiz, Design Studio, and AE LEDs configurator — together with the underlying pricing logic, scoring models, prompts, question sets, decision trees, weightings, output formats, and the cost and material data that powers them, are proprietary to AE and protected as trade secrets, copyrighted works, and compilations of data. You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party or automated system to:

• Copy, clone, mirror, fork, or create a derivative or "inspired-by" version of any AE tool, calculator, quiz, or estimator.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract the pricing formulas, prompts, datasets, or logic behind any tool.
• Use AE tool output, screenshots, or exported results to build, train, fine-tune, evaluate, or benchmark any competing tool, model, dataset, or service.
• Resell, sublicense, white-label, or redistribute any AE tool, output, or interface — in whole or in part — under any other brand.
• Remove, obscure, or alter any AE branding, watermark, attribution, or copyright notice from tool output.

Tool output is licensed to you for your personal, non-commercial evaluation of an AE project only. AE reserves all other rights. Violations may result in immediate termination of access, takedown demands, and legal action including injunctive relief and recovery of attorneys' fees.

6. User submissions

When you submit information through any form (contact, quote, nomination, support, application), you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to submit it (including photos and information about third parties). You grant AE a non-exclusive license to use submitted content for the purpose of responding to and fulfilling your request.

7. Acceptable use

• No automated scraping, scraping for AI training, or bulk data collection without written consent.
• No attempts to circumvent rate limits, security controls, or authentication.
• No uploading of malware, illegal content, or content infringing others' rights.
• No use of our tools to harass, defame, or impersonate.

8. Third-party services

Our site links to third-party services (lenders, scheduling tools, social platforms, suppliers). AE is not responsible for those services, their content, their availability, or their terms. Financing is offered by independent lenders; AE is not a lender and does not guarantee approval, terms, or rates.

9. Disclaimers

The site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, AE disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Your project-specific warranties are governed by your signed Project Contract and our Warranty & Care documentation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AE, its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or tools. AE's total liability for any claim related to the website or tools is limited to $100. This section does not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify AE against any claim arising from your misuse of the site, content you submit, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. You waive any objection to venue or jurisdiction in those courts. Nothing here limits your consumer-protection rights, including your right to file a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors — see our Consumer Rights page.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
