Engineered drawings (pool structural, retaining wall over 4 ft, electrical service changes) are not included — when needed we coordinate with our partner engineers at published rates.

Have us build it — design fee credited

Hire AE Outdoor Living (ROC #340966 / ROC #211530) to install the design within 12 months of delivery and we apply the credit below to your install invoice.

Credit is applied at contract signing. One credit per property, per 12-month window.

This design-to-build credit is a standing AE policy — always available, not a seasonal offer. The design fee is credited under the terms above, not waived, and the written design and construction agreements control.

The design-to-build credit remains available under its existing terms, but it cannot be stacked on the same construction agreement with any Fall 2026 seasonal enhancement. Choose whichever eligible benefit you prefer for that agreement. May be combined with one otherwise eligible current AE offer or the standing design-to-build credit. Seasonal offers cannot be combined with one another.

It may be paired with AE's standing 5% Community Service Appreciation Discount for active-duty military members and veterans, first responders (law enforcement, fire, and EMS), teachers, and nurses.

Can I really hand this to another contractor?Open

Yes — the plan is yours. We deliver it as PDF + DWG (on Backyard Master Plan and up) so any competent landscaper, paver crew, or pool deck installer can build from it. The plan calls out brands and quantities so they can bid apples-to-apples.

What if my property is in a different city than Scottsdale?Open

We design across the Phoenix metro — Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Cave Creek, Carefree, Fountain Hills, Peoria, Glendale, and Anthem. Outside that radius we can still design (it just helps if you can share property photos and a recent survey).

Do you guarantee the plan will pass HOA review?Open

No designer can. What we do guarantee: every plant on the list is on the approved plant lists for the major Valley HOAs, and our drawings are formatted the way ARC committees expect to receive them. If your ARC requests changes, the included revision rounds cover them.

What if I want to add a pool later?Open

Order the Whole Property Plan up front. The master plan reserves space, utilities, and equipment-room access for a future pool so nothing has to be torn out when you're ready. Pool structural drawings are a separate scope through our pool division.

Refund policy?Open

Full refund any time before we begin drafting. Once your designer starts the first draft, the fee is non-refundable — but you keep whatever has been produced.
