How the planner works
The planner is a concept tool, and we're straight about what it is. It produces a to-scale layout and a written brief — not a design, engineering document, construction drawing, permit set, or price quote.
Width × depth in feet. The grid scales to real Arizona lot sizes.

The AE Yard Planner
What happens after you send your concept
Your plan goes to AE as a written concept brief: yard dimensions, every element you placed with its size and position, your priorities, and anything you told us. A designer reads it before your free design consult, so the conversation starts from your yard instead of a blank page — front yard, backyard, driveway, or patio.
The browser planner is a concept sketch. It does not replace the field measurements, engineering, and signed written scope that an actual build is based on. AE verifies every dimension on site.

Do I need to install anything?
No. The planner runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or desktop — no download, no signup. Your plan autosaves to your own device, and nothing reaches AE until you choose to send your concept summary through our project form.
