“Oh my goodness, my yard looks beautiful! The rabbits just thought it was theirs to eat and finally I called Advant-Edge to put in artificial turf. I'm so happy I did! The men who did the work did a great job, worked hard in the heat, were friendly and kind. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat! Thank you all at Advant-Edge!”
This isn't a cost. It's an investment.
The figures on this page are real and we don't hide them — that's how AE operates. But we want to be honest about how to read them. Your artificial turf install isn't a line-item expense; it's an investment in your home's value, your family's daily experience, and a space you'll use for the next twenty to thirty years.
When you compare bids, compare what you're investing in — the spec, the crews, the warranty, the company that will still be standing in year ten — not just the price tag. The lowest bid is almost always the most expensive build over time.
Estimate your turf investment in 10 seconds.
Based on AE's published $11–$18 / sq ft installed planning range. Final price depends on site conditions and the signed proposal.
Ballpark only — not a bid. Complex demo, irrigation rework, or premium cool-touch yarn can move the number.
Artificial Turf Cost in Arizona — 2026.
Planning ranges for artificial-turf installation across the Phoenix metro — what standard installs plan at, what specialty scopes look like, what typically drives price up or down, and why every final number is quoted for the specific property.
Educational estimate, not a quote. Ranges shown are Arizona-market planning estimates. Final pricing depends on site access, size, materials, engineering, drainage, utilities, permits, equipment access, existing conditions, and final scope. Binding pricing is only valid in a written proposal signed by an AE representative.

What's typically in an AE standard turf install
- Demo and removal of existing sod, dirt, or DG as required for the scope.
- Weed barrier (woven geotextile) over prepared subgrade where the scope calls for it.
- Compacted aggregate base — material, depth, and compaction selected for the site conditions and documented in the written proposal (not one universal spec).
- Turf laid with seams properly seamed for the product.
- Perimeter fastening appropriate for the edge conditions.
- Infill sized to the turf product and use case, brushed in.
- Final power brooming and surface inspection.
- Drainage planning — grade, sub-surface drainage, and any French-drain component sized to the site.
- 2-year AE workmanship warranty. Manufacturer product coverage may extend longer and is controlled by manufacturer terms.
AE pet-turf system (approved scope)
- 2–3 inches of appropriate aggregate specified for the site.
- Zeolite or approved pet-oriented infill.
- Drainage routed toward the subgrade or an approved drainage path.
- A French-drain component when required by site conditions.
- Pet upgrade add-on is priced in the signed proposal and quoted for the specific property.
What drives cost up
- Concrete or paver demo: $4–$10 / sq ft.
- Pet upgrades (antimicrobial infill, deeper drainage): +$1–$3 / sq ft.
- Putting green features (multiple cups, fringe, contour): +$5–$10 / sq ft.
- Narrow access (wheelbarrow only): +10–20% labor.
- Complex shape with many curves and cutouts: +$1–$2 / sq ft material waste.
- Built-in pavers, borders, or integrated hardscape transitions.
What drives cost down
- Open access for skid-steer.
- Rectangular layouts with few cuts.
- Standard face weight where premium is not required.
- Bundling front and back in one mobilization.
Turf vs. live lawn — honest guidance
Artificial turf typically reduces watering, mowing, overseeding, and fertilizer compared with a live lawn. We won't publish an average dollar savings, because it depends on lot size, previous irrigation practice, leaks, replacement planting, household use, utility rates, and seasonal conditions. If ongoing cost is a decision factor, your water utility and a licensed appraiser or real-estate professional can help you evaluate the impact for your specific address.

What homeowners say about our turf installs.
“A year after moving into my new Glendale home I had yet to address my 1,200 sq. ft. dirt backyard. Much research led me to Advant-Edge, a local family-owned business. The owner, David Bell, came over to scope out the yard, listen to my vision, and watch videos of rainwater drainage issues. David proposed burying a 6" pipe across my yard to better direct the drainage, a buried drip irrigation system tied into my existing Hunter controller, and a low-maintenance mix of pavers, artificial turf, and rock. I was impressed that Belgard had awarded a "Master Craftsman" certification to Advant-Edge. His contract is lengthy and all-inclusive, and every question I sent was answered thoroughly. The crew was on time, respectful, and cleaned up daily. The finished yard drains beautifully and looks great.”
“Ryan and his crew did a great job on my backyard. From pavers around my pool, to artificial grass and a putting green and finishing it all off with landscaping rock — we are finally enjoying our yard. From start to finish everyone was professional. Schedules were kept and met. The guys were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about their jobs and products. Would recommend them highly! Thanks Ryan!”
