Actual AE ProjectThe homeowners — active adults who entertain often — wanted to host comfortably outside without taking on a full pool build. The yard had to stay easy to maintain and visually clean from inside the home.
Trilogy lot footprints are tight, and the existing builder slab couldn't host both the kitchen and a real seating area. HOA design review required matching home colors and minimizing visual weight from the street side.
AE expanded the patio with matched-tone pavers, anchored a stone-clad BBQ island at the right elbow position for the cook, and added a freestanding aluminum-look pergola sized for shade where the seating actually lives. Lighting was layered so the whole yard reads warm at night without spillover.
