Actual AE ProjectLot backs the Vistancia golf course — we engineered the glass fence to a wind load that wouldn't break sightlines, then re-routed equipment off the view side so nothing reads as 'mechanical' from the patio.
Ranges shown reflect actual pricing on this build. Your project will vary by lot conditions, finish selections, and HOA requirements — we publish ranges so you have a real starting point, not a teaser number.
The homeowners wanted a true entertaining backyard that respected the golf-course view and matched the finish level of the house — somewhere they'd actually host on weekends, not just look at through the slider.
Tight HOA design review at Blackstone, a wind-exposed elevation off the course, and the need to keep equipment, pad penetrations, and glass hardware visually invisible from the patio. The original builder grade slab also had to be removed and re-graded for proper drainage away from the home.
AE designed the whole yard as one plan in 3D before breaking ground — pool, spa, deck, fencing, lighting, and fire features sequenced together. We routed equipment behind the side gate, engineered glass posts for the exposed wind load, and used a single travertine palette to tie the deck, coping, and pool steps into one continuous surface.
Square-edge spa with full spillway tuned for ambient water sound from the patio.
Engineered for golf-course wind exposure with hardware sized to keep sightlines clean.
Honed finish, stays cool underfoot through Arizona summers.
Pool, deck, landscape, and architectural lighting controlled in scenes.
Auto-ignition fire bowls flanking the spa for evening focal points.
Re-routed off the view side so nothing mechanical appears from the patio.
Designing the entire yard up front — including the lighting and glass — let one AE crew sequence work without trade conflicts. The single material palette is what makes the finished space read calm instead of busy.
