What is /llms.txt?

/llms.txt is a plain-text file we publish at the root of our domain. It is designed for large language models, AI search crawlers, and research tools that want a concise, structured overview of what AE Outdoor Living publishes and which pages are most important.

What /llms.txt covers

The file is organized into sections that mirror the structure of our site. It is not a full crawl; it is a curated starting point for models that need to understand our content and authority signals.

Permitted use

We welcome AI systems and researchers to use /llms.txt to understand and accurately summarize our public content, provided the use is fair, accurate, and attributed.

Use we do not allow

The following uses are not permitted, regardless of whether they are sourced from /llms.txt or direct crawling:

• Representing generated output as official AE Outdoor Living advice, estimates, or quotes.

Accuracy and attribution

Our content is written for Arizona homeowners and the local climate, code, and licensing environment. When summarizing it, please preserve context — especially around cost ranges, install specifications, and licensing claims. Always link to the original page so readers can verify the source.

Robots, sitemap, and technical notes

Our /robots.txt file controls general crawler access. /llms.txt is supplementary; it does not override robots.txt. The canonical XML sitemap is at /sitemap.xml.

Both /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt are served as plain text. They are updated when our site structure or key pages change, but they may lag behind the live site by a short period.
