A note on the numbers

This isn't a cost. It's an investment.

The figures on this page are real and we don't hide them — that's how AE operates. But we want to be honest about how to read them. Your sports field turf project isn't a line-item expense; it's an investment in your home's value, your family's daily experience, and a space you'll use for the next twenty to thirty years.

When you compare bids, compare what you're investing in — the spec, the crews, the warranty, the company that will still be standing in year ten — not just the price tag. The lowest bid is almost always the most expensive build over time.

Sports & Recreation

Sports Field Artificial Turf Arizona.

Multi-sport artificial turf across Arizona — schools, municipalities, private academies, corporate wellness, and HOA rec areas. Engineered aggregate base, laser-graded, shock-pad selected against a target GMAX, striping to sport spec, and independent testing on turnover when required.

The honest version: Sports field turf isn't scaled-up residential — it's a different discipline. The failure modes are seam splits at high-traffic zones, infill migration into cleats, standing water at the wear-lines, and GMAX numbers that drift out of spec by year three. Every one of those traces back to base tolerances, drainage design, and pad selection made at the RFP stage, not the install stage. AE bids sports fields with those decisions written into the proposal.

FAQ

Common questions.

Soccer, football, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball/softball skinned infields and outfields, multi-sport practice fields, batting cages, golf tees and short-game areas, and indoor training facilities. We install for municipalities, private academies, corporate wellness campuses, HOAs, and schools across Arizona.

Yes. Shock-pad thickness is selected against the target GMAX at design. We install engineered pad systems from established manufacturers and coordinate independent third-party GMAX testing on turnover when the owner requires it.

Engineered aggregate base — 6–10" of graded, laser-leveled stone over a compacted sub-grade, tolerances tighter than any residential install. Drainage is designed at the sub-grade with perforated pipe on centers matched to the field footprint and expected water load.

Depends on sport, budget, and heat priorities. Options range from graded silica sand for practice and rec fields, to coated / cooler infills, to organic / crumb-alternative systems for schools and municipalities that require them. AE writes the infill selection into the proposal with the trade-offs stated.

Small practice fields and cages: 2–4 weeks. Full competition fields with shock-pad, drainage, striping, and testing: 4–10 weeks depending on square footage, sub-grade condition, and site logistics.
