Do permanent trim lights damage my fascia?
Installed to spec, no. AE LEDs are mounted in a continuous track using fasteners sized for the substrate, with sealing where required — the same way a quality gutter or trim install is fastened.

How AE LEDs mount
- Track sized to the run, fastened into structural substrate at manufacturer-spec intervals.
- Sealant where penetrations require it.
- Clean returns at corners and downspouts; no daisy-chained wire across the face.
- Power and controller in a serviceable, weather-rated location.
Where damage actually comes from
- Adhesive-only mounts on textured stucco or aged fascia.
- Oversized fasteners into unsupported wood.
- Improper sealing on south-facing exposures.
- DIY removal without backing-out hardware.
Arizona context
- Heat cycling and monsoon UV destroy adhesive-only systems within a season or two.
- Stucco substrates require different fastening than wood fascia — AE installers spec per house.
