Each person plays a role in making sure AE projects are designed well, planned carefully, communicated clearly, and built with pride.

David

Founder of AE Outdoor Living

Founded AE in 2005.

David founded AE Outdoor Living in 2005 and brings more than 25 years of construction experience to the company. His experience spans residential and commercial construction, estimating, bidding, project planning, and field execution. As President of the Southwest Hardscapes Association and the license holder for AE's Arizona contractor licenses, David helps lead the company with deep construction knowledge, industry involvement, and a strong commitment to building projects the right way.

Ryan Olson

Lead Designer & Sales Manager

With AE since 2013.

Ryan Olson is AE's Lead Designer and Sales Manager, and the in-house 3D design expert. He creates the 3D designs that help customers visualize their outdoor living projects before construction begins, bringing ideas to life in a way clients can clearly see and understand. As one of AE's longest-serving team members, Ryan combines sales leadership, design knowledge, and years of company experience to help guide projects from concept to reality.

Jairo Del Rio

Hardscape Lead Foreman

With AE since 2016.

Jairo Del Rio is one of AE's hardscape masters, with deep hands-on skill in pavers, masonry, and hardscape construction. He understands what it takes to build durable, clean, high-quality work in the field. His craftsmanship, experience, and ability to execute detailed hardscape projects make him a major part of AE's build quality.

Jay Bell

Construction / Field Execution

With AE since 2016.

Jay Bell has been around construction his entire life and brings a lifetime of hands-on building knowledge to AE. He understands how to take a customer's plan, break it down, and execute it correctly in the field. His experience, practical problem-solving, and steady approach make him a valuable part of turning ideas and designs into finished projects.

Anthony Cabrera

Shade, Lighting & Glass Lead

With AE since 2017.

Anthony Cabrera has been part of AE since 2017 and represents the consistency, loyalty, and experience that help anchor a strong team. His time with the company reflects long-term commitment and a strong understanding of AE's standards. He is part of the foundation that helps AE continue to grow and deliver quality work.

Adam Klima

President of Construction

With AE since 2018.

Around AE, Adam Klima is known as the guy who can figure out how to build just about anything. Whether it is a complex design, a custom feature, or a one-of-a-kind idea dreamed up by a customer, Adam has a unique ability to break it down, design the right approach, and produce it correctly. His creativity, craftsmanship, and problem-solving mindset make him a key part of bringing AE's most ambitious projects to life.

Kameron Ramos

Irrigation Lead & Landscape Foreman

With AE since 2018.

Kameron Ramos brings strong field knowledge in hardscapes, irrigation, and outdoor living construction. He understands the details that help a project function properly, look right, and hold up over time. His practical experience, reliability, and well-rounded skill set make him a valuable part of AE's production team.

Rowena Evale

Aftercare Coordinator & EA to David Bell

Rowena Evale has been with AE since 2019 and has been part of the company's continued growth. As Aftercare Coordinator and Executive Assistant to David Bell, her time with the team reflects consistency, care, and a commitment to supporting AE's people, clients, and operations. She helps strengthen the team culture that keeps the company moving forward.

Marty Campisi

Design & Permitting

With AE since 2020.

Marty Campisi plays a key role in turning project ideas into permit-ready plans. He works through the details needed for city review, engineering coordination, permitting, and construction planning. From detailed drawings to construction documents, Marty helps make sure projects are properly planned, clearly communicated, and ready to move forward the right way.

Jeared Johnson

Materials & Logistics Lead

With AE since 2020.

Jeared Johnson helps keep AE projects moving by managing materials, delivering supplies, supporting crews, and keeping job sites clean and organized. His work behind the scenes helps the field team stay productive and focused. Jeared's reliability and attention to jobsite flow make him an important part of keeping projects on track.

Doug Laird

Marketing / Video / Social Media

Doug Laird is the creative force behind much of AE's video content, social media, and digital storytelling. He helps capture the work, showcase the team, and keep AE's brand active and visible across social platforms. His eye for content and marketing helps tell the story behind the projects, the people, and the craftsmanship that make AE stand out.

Donna Bell

AP / AR & Payroll

With AE since 2024.

Donna Bell helps make sure the AE office runs smoothly day to day. Handling AP, AR, and payroll — along with organization and communication that supports the team behind the scenes — Donna helps keep the moving parts connected. Her steady support helps the office, field, and customer experience stay aligned.

Matthew McQuarrie

Glass & Pergola Specialist

With AE since 2025.

Matthew McQuarrie leads AE's glass and pergola installations, including Sonoran Glass fencing, glass pool fencing, glass railings, and custom pergola and shade structures. He brings a detail-first approach to layout, leveling, hardware, and finish work — the small things that separate a clean install from a great one. His craftsmanship and follow-through help ensure every glass and pergola project meets AE's standard for quality, safety, and long-term performance.

Charles Brown

Customer Service & Fleet Management

With AE since 2026.

Charles Brown brings more than 20 years of construction industry experience to AE. He helps keep the fleet running, supports customer service, and makes sure repairs and service needs are handled. His construction background, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to jump in where needed help keep the company moving smoothly.

Chad Carara

Sales & Design

Chad Carara works hard to understand each customer's ideas and turn them into thoughtful, high-standard designs. Through the design and sales process, he helps clients shape their vision while keeping quality, function, and execution at the center of the conversation. His focus is on helping customers feel heard while guiding them toward a finished project AE can be proud to build.

Kristi Bell

Project Coordinator

Kristi Bell plays a key role in keeping customers informed and projects moving smoothly. As Project Coordinator, she helps maintain communication, coordinate details, and support the follow-through that keeps each job organized from start to finish. Her ability to keep customers updated and help things stay on track makes her an important part of the AE customer experience.

Skyler Bell

Director of Quality Control

With AE for over 5 years.

Skyler Bell serves as AE's Director of Quality Control — the final set of eyes (and nose) on every job. Whether it's a fresh paver patio, a new turf install, or a completed pool deck, Skyler makes sure the site meets the AE standard before it's handed back to the family. Beyond QC, she represents the heart and culture behind the company — a reminder that AE is built on people, relationships, and pride in the work.

Stella Bell

Director of Morale & Cuteness

Stella Bell holds the critical role of Director of Morale & Cuteness at AE. Her responsibilities include greeting the team, boosting office morale, supervising snack breaks, and reminding everyone that the best companies are built on people (and pups) who genuinely enjoy showing up. She's a daily reminder of the family-driven culture that shapes how AE treats its team and its clients.
