Pool Remodels in AZ — Skin Refresh, Full Remodel, or Total Rebuild?

Skin refresh ($10K–$20K)

New interior finish (pebble or plaster), new waterline tile, equipment service. Best when shape and structure are fine and you just want fresh surfaces. 2–3 week project.

Full remodel ($35K–$75K)

Everything in a skin refresh + new coping, new deck (or deck overlay), new equipment (variable-speed pump, salt cell, automation), new lights, sometimes new water features. 6–10 week project. Best when the pool is structurally sound but everything around it is aging.

Total rebuild ($90K+)

When the shell is cracked beyond repair, you want a fundamentally different shape, or you're adding a spa, tanning shelf, or significant feature. Effectively a new pool. 4–6 month project.

How to decide

Honest scope walk: structural shell condition first. If shell is sound, remodel. If it's failing (major cracks, rebar exposed, settling), rebuild. We do free remodel scoping walks — no obligation, just a written recommendation.
