We don't just build outdoor spaces. We build the standard.
For 20+ years, AE has invested in the Arizona outdoor-living trade — through in-house brands, public education, crew training, and material development. Here's how that work shows up in your project.
In-House Brands
Sonoran Glass & Fence (frameless glass fencing & railings) and AE LEDs (low-voltage architectural lighting) are produced by AE-owned sister brands — so the quality of two of the most-visible finishes in any backyard is owned, not outsourced.
Homeowner Education
Most pool companies hide the numbers. We publish the pricing guide, the materials library, the design-style catalog, and the problem-solver pages — so Arizona homeowners can make better decisions whether or not they ever hire AE.
Training the Trade
We invest in our crews: ongoing training on plaster, masonry, automation, low-voltage, and customer communication. The standard of Arizona outdoor living goes up when the people building it are better at it.
Research & Material Development
We test new decking surfaces, automation systems, energy-efficient pumps, and shade structures on our own showroom and demo yards before specifying them on client projects. If it can't survive Arizona, it doesn't get spec'd.
What 20+ years of building in Arizona actually looks like.
The standard isn't a marketing line — it's a checklist your PM works from.
Mostly in-house crews
AE self-performs design, project management, hardscape, decking, landscape, lighting, glass, and finish work. We use a select few trade partners for rebar, excavation, gunite, and pool interior finish — chosen and managed by AE, not pulled off Craigslist.
Project standards on every trade
Every trade — in-house or partner — works to AE's published project standards. Excavation tolerances, paver base depths, bond inspection photos, pressure-test gauges, plaster cure windows. It's all written and audited per project.
Hired by the builders other people hire
Major Phoenix-area pool and landscape companies subcontract AE — especially Sonoran Glass & Fence — on their own projects. When your competitors trust your crews, that's a standard that speaks for itself.
Materials tested on AE yards first
New decking, automation, pumps, shade structures, and lighting are run on our own showroom and demo yards before they show up on a client proposal. If it can't survive Arizona, you won't see it.
Education before sales pitch
Pricing guide, materials library, design-style catalog, problem-solver pages, ROC payment-schedule transparency. You get the same info our designers use — before you ever sign anything.
