Local planning
Arizona Outdoor Planning Hub
Service availability, a verified project map, official permit links, and HOA planning — grounded in real projects and official sources, not synthetic city pages.
Service areas & regional considerations
We only link regions where AE has confirmed service availability and at least one verified nearby project. This list is the accessible equivalent of the project map — same regions, keyboard- and screen-reader-friendly.
Central Phoenix & Paradise Valley
Established neighborhoods with mature trees, narrow access, and active HOAs in the foothill corridors.
- Service availability:
- Full design-build, pool, hardscape, shade, lighting, turf, and aftercare.
Scottsdale · Cave Creek · Carefree
View-lot terrain, NAOS preservation, dark-sky considerations, and architectural-review boards.
- Service availability:
- Full design-build with frequent HOA submittal coordination.
East Valley
Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek — newer subdivisions, larger lots in outlying areas, and a wide permit-authority mix.
- Service availability:
- Full scope. Glass and lighting are common East Valley specialty requests.
West Valley
Surprise, Goodyear, Buckeye, Peoria — fast-growing master-planned communities with consolidated architectural review.
- Service availability:
- Selective service area. Confirm coverage on intake.
Permit resource directory
Each municipal record links to the city's own portal and pages. We do not copy or reinterpret municipal code as legal advice. Records publish only after the fields below are filled and an AE verification owner is named.
- City or authority
- Official website
- Official permit portal
- Applicable department
- Publicly available contact information
- Relevant resource categories
- Last-verified date
- Verification owner
- Change notes
Standard disclaimer on every record: Requirements vary by project and can change. Confirm current requirements with the governing authority and your signed project team.
The first verified municipal records are in preparation. Until each one passes review, we keep this directory empty rather than publish guesses.
HOA planning records
For communities where reliable public information exists, an HOA record may include:
- Official community or management link
- Architectural-review resource
- Commonly requested submission categories
- Publicly stated review information
- Last-verified date
What we will not do
- We do not publish private HOA documents without permission.
- We do not guarantee approval — any submittal is reviewed by the HOA on its own terms.
- A prior approval for one property does not transfer to another property.
- AE has no inside relationship with any HOA, management company, or architectural committee.
- We do not create a page for every HOA in Arizona for search traffic — only communities where we have real local information that helps homeowners.
Change control
Cities and HOAs change requirements regularly. Every municipal and HOA record on this site displays:
- Last checked date
- Official source link
- "Report an update" link to flag drift
Records older than the configured review window are automatically flagged for re-verification and noindexed until refreshed.
Indexation policy for location pages
A city or community page is indexed only when it meets all of the following:
- Real local project evidence (verified case study within or near the area).
- Unique local information not duplicated from a parent page.
- Confirmed AE service availability in the area.
- Useful official resources (permit portal, design-review link, etc.).
- Original images or meaningful first-party planning guidance.
Incomplete or thin records stay publicly accessible (because they may still help a returning customer) but are marked noindex until they earn inclusion. No location page exists solely to swap a city name into a template.
Privacy on the project map
Project locations are shown by broad region and city centroid only, with randomized offsets. Customer addresses are never exposed publicly, in source code, in social previews, or in shareable URLs.
