How we write, verify, and correct what we publish.
AE Outdoor Living publishes education-first content: install specs, cost ranges, brand comparisons, permit realities, and real project work. Because homeowners make expensive decisions from this content, we hold it to a higher standard than typical contractor marketing.
Sourcing
Every claim about codes, licensing, warranties, materials, or installation specs is written from a primary source: the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, the Arizona Corporation Commission, ICC/IRC code sections, manufacturer datasheets, IRS and FTC guidance, or AE's own signed contract and warranty documents. When a source is a manufacturer, we say so.
Pricing transparency
We publish real cost ranges with the assumptions attached (materials, site prep, access, permits, region). We do not use “call for pricing.” When a range doesn't apply to a specific project, we say why and give the next honest data point rather than an inflated or vague number.
Review and corrections
Cost, spec, code, and legal content is reviewed by the AE operations owner before publication. If we find a published claim is wrong or out of date, we correct the page, note the correction, and re-check adjacent pages that share the same claim. You can flag a correction by emailing hello@aeoutdoorliving.com.
AI-assisted content
We use AI tooling to draft, outline, and cross-check content. Every published page is edited by a human and, where the claim is technical or legal, verified against the source above. Warranty language, licensing statements, and pricing are never auto-generated.
Project photography and testimonials
Project photos on this site are AE's own work unless labeled otherwise (manufacturer, community partner, stock). Testimonials are used with permission from the homeowner or client on record.
