How pool payments are governed
For a licensed contractor's qualifying owner-occupied residential in-ground pool or spa contract, A.R.S. §32-1158.01 limits the payment due at contract execution, limits subsequent progress payments to defined construction stages, addresses bond requirements, and requires written change orders. The current statute and your signed contract control. AE writes each payment stage into the agreement — no 10%-or-$1,000 language and no vague remainders.
Permits and HOA
Residential pool/spa permitting and barrier requirements are set by the City of Goodyear for your actual scope and property, and community architectural review is a separate private process. Where permitting or private-review coordination is offered, accepted, and explicitly assigned in the signed scope, AE coordinates that assigned portion.
